Re: Losing items
Did he say sorry? If not... Beat the crap out of him.
On the positive side, You got more to do now, And can show how pro you are for not giving up, complaining, training with 1 MSI and ofcourse... to accept your lost of a good and close friend. Mr. MSI 2
And you can be proud for reporting this possible strip bug! Even if you only did it to just get your MSI back and it never even came up to you
Well, Goodluck with it. I hope chase will ask Will about it and refund it for you.

Re: Losing items
It's not a bug (just saying) it happens every time your inventory is full and cant fit all you're equips...where's it gonna go? It just disappears. I think its a mistake on Will's behalf and i believe that this command should be removed from the server to prevent anything like this happening againᴹᶤᶜʰᵉˡˡᵉ ᵇᵉᵃʳ wrote:

Yea i know, The same happend on the server i used to work for. And it makes simple sense. But i still think its some sort of bug/thing that can and needs to be fixed.
Instead of the easy removing way, Wich also removes the fun of it... You could instead make a popup message, "You are full so it failed to strip" thing... Or that it only strips where place is for, The rest will remain equiped. I know the 2nd can be coded easily since i've seen it a couple times before. So i hope Chase and Andro do that or come up with another way to fix it.

I said possible because i wasn't sure if it was a bug.
Definition of bug: A defect in the code or routine of a program.
What i ment was, A possible fault in the script.
Thats almost exactly the same as the definition from above?
Sean wrote:It's not a bug
Ooh snap!, I think it is a bug. :O
And ooh, If it wasn't a bug according to you, Than give a reason why Chase and Andro decided to let items dissapear if your full while being stipped?
I made my point. It is a bug.
As dear uncle Charlie would say,

Sorry for what i've done above this quote o-o, And yea you couldn't prevent losing the item. So lets just hope the best.
Hope you learned to make SS's before losing the item next time.

Re: Losing items
Well it'ts not a "fault in scripting or routine of program" The code runs as it should, removes your equips, so by my definition it is not a bug.

Disagree once again, Where do the items go first? The inventory. Where should i go next? Nowhere. The script should stop and give an error as most scripts do that don't work fully. This script decides to delete them. Thats not what its supose to do at all. So its still "a faul in scripting or routine of progam"
By this i see your definition of removing wrong, As i just explained why.
Im not saying it is wrong, Or could be. I just see it else way that you do sadly.
I just keep it by the real definition, The one on the internetz in a cool website with alot definitions, Especaly made for it and usefull for help. But you rather believe yourself. We both got our ways.

Re: Losing items
just to give it one more go, i'm going by your definition of the code 'running as it should' the command was not coded with a back-up to stop you from stripping, so therefore, how could it stop you? It cant, and there fore, it is running as it is coded.
